These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern your use of the
website located at https://drlisadamour.com, as well as other websites owned and/or operated by
Untangled Media Group LLC and/or Dr. Lisa Damour (collectively, “UMG,” We”, or “Us”) that
link to these Terms and Conditions (collectively, the “Website”). These Terms and Conditions
create a legal agreement directly between you and UMG and explain the rules governing use of
the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge and agree that you have read,
understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well our Privacy Policy. If
you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not access or use the Website.
We have the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time upon posting revised
policies on the Website. The updated Terms and Conditions take effect upon posting and will
apply on a going-forward basis, unless otherwise noted. By continuing to use the Website after
the posting of updated Terms and Conditions, you agree to the Terms and Conditions as
amended.

Access to the Website
The Website includes access to videos, podcasts, articles, newsletters, and other content and
information about a wide spectrum of parenting and family topics. Access to some of the
information is available free of charge, and access to some of the information requires a paid
membership. We hereby grant you permission to use the Website as set forth in these Terms and
Conditions, provided that you use the Website solely for your personal, noncommercial use. You
may make one copy of any part of the Website if technically feasible to use for personal,
noncommercial purposes, provided that you retain all marks and copyright notices on your copy.
You must obtain our prior consent to use any of the content on the Website for any other
purpose. In addition, your right to use of the Website is conditioned upon your complete
compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Not Professional Advice; No Professional Relationship Created
The information we provide on the Website is for your information only. The information is not
intended to constitute or be a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare provider. By
providing you with access to the Website, UMG is not rendering mental health advice, clinical
psychology advice, therapy, or other medical advice or services, and your use of the Website
does not create any therapist-patient or other treatment relationship between you and Dr. Lisa
Damour or any of other Untangled Media Group representative. We assume no responsibility for
any consequence relating, directly or indirectly, to any action or inaction you take based on the
information or material on the Website. Reliance on any information provided is solely at your
own risk. Always seek the advice of your qualified healthcare professionals with any questions
you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay in
seeking it because of something you have read on the Website.

Links to Third Party Websites
The Website may include links to third party websites. We have no control over, and assume no
responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. In
addition, we will not and cannot censor or edit the content of any third-party website. By using

the Website, you expressly relieve us from any and all liability arising from your use of the
Website, as well as any third-party website.

Restrictions on Use
You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, “bots,”
“spiders,” “offline readers,” etc., that accesses the Website in a manner that sends more requests
to our servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period
by using a conventional on-line web browser, or that otherwise imposes burdens on our systems
or circumvents any technological blockers to such activities that we may have put in place.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we grant the operators of public search engines permission to use
spiders to copy materials from the Website for the sole purpose of creating publicly available
searchable indices of the materials. We reserve the right to revoke these exceptions either
generally or in specific cases. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable
information from the Website, nor to use the communication systems provided by the Website
for any commercial solicitation purposes. You agree not to solicit any users of the Website for
any commercial purposes. In addition, you agree not to use the Website for any unlawful or
fraudulent activities.

Intellectual Property Rights
The content on the Website, including, without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics,
photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the like, (“Content”) and the trademarks,
service marks, and logos contained therein (“Marks”), are owned by or licensed to UMG, subject
to copyright and other intellectual property rights under United States and foreign laws and
international conventions. Content on the Website is provided to you AS IS for your information
and noncommercial use only and the Content and the Marks may not be used, copied,
reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited
for any other purposes whatsoever other than as authorized herein without the prior written
consent of the respective owners. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in and to the
Website, the Content, and the Marks. You agree not to engage in the use, copying, or distribution
of any of the Content or the Marks other than as expressly permitted herein. You acknowledge
that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading or printing copyrighted Content or
by using the Marks. You agree not to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security
related features of the Website or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Content
or enforce limitations on use of the Website or the Content therein.

Paid Membership Subscription
We offer a paid membership subscription option that will provide you with access to certain
Content that is only available to those users who are paid members (“Subscription-Only
Content”). In order to access the Subscription-Only Content, you must set up an account on the
Website, and pay a subscription fee. When you set up an account, you must provide us with
some information about yourself, including your first and last name, your email address, your
billing address, valid payment card information, and a user name and password. You may also
have the opportunity to provide us with additional information in response to questions in
connection with onboarding. Answering these optional questions will allow us the capability to
send you information most relevant to your needs. Please keep your email address and other
account information current and accurate. Also, you agree to maintain the security and

confidentiality of your user name and password. You are solely responsible for anything that
happens using your account, even if your account is used without authorization because you
failed to maintain the security and confidentiality of your account.

The subscription fees are as set forth on the Website, and may change from time to time in our
sole discretion. (For current subscribers, any change in subscription fees will not change your
current subscription price. The new fees will be charged only upon renewal of your subscription,
after notice to you of the new fees.) Except as expressly set forth herein, all subscription fees are
non-refundable once paid. All fees are in U.S. dollars, and applicable taxes will be charged. You
may pay your subscription fee only by credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
and Discover), or via Untangling 10to20 gift cards (“Gift Cards”). Gift Cards are available for
purchase on the Website, and expire on the date that is one year after issuance. Gift Cards are not
redeemable or refundable for cash or credit, unless required by law. Gift Cards may be redeemed
only for one year or six-month subscriptions. In addition, when using a Gift Card to pay for your
subscription, you will still be required to enter credit card or debit card information so that we
can charge you for renewal subscription terms after your Gift Card has been fully expended or
expired.

Any promotional or “trial basis” discounts offered are temporary and will terminate at the end of
the applicable promotional period. Thereafter, the regular subscription fees will apply. We will
charge your credit or debit card for your first subscription fee on the date that we process your
order for a subscription, and thereafter we will charge the then-current rate on each renewal date
as per your applicable subscription term, until you cancel. In other words, YOUR
SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW UNLESS YOU CANCEL PRIOR TO
THE END OF THE APPLICABLE SUBSCRIPTION TERM. For example, if you sign up for a
six-month term, we will charge your credit or debit card when you first sign up, and then again
every six months thereafter, until you cancel. If you sign up for a twelve-month term, we will
charge your credit or debit card when you first sign up, and then again every twelve months
thereafter, until you cancel. 

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings using the
membership icon at the top right of the website. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your
current subscription term, so you will be able to continue to access the Subscription-Only
Content until the expiration of the then-current subscription term for which you have paid. Pre-
paid fees will not be refunded, in whole or in part, except as provided below. Cancellation will
prevent your subscription from automatically renewing for an additional subscription term. At
that point, your access to Subscription-Only Content will terminate.

You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide, and
you authorize UMG and our third-party payment processors to charge your designated payment
card upon sign up and upon each renewal for the total amount of any fees you owe us, including
any applicable taxes and other charges. If the payment method cannot be verified, is invalid, or is
otherwise not acceptable, your access to the Subscription-Only Content may be terminated.
We hope to provide you with useful tools to untangle family life. However, if you do not find the
Subscription-Only Content is what you need, please email us at [email protected]

and let us know. If you email us within the first thirty (30) days of the start of your subscription
about your concerns and we are unable to resolve your concerns, we will offer you a full refund.
Please allow approximately 3-5 business days for your refund to be processed. The refund will
be applied to the payment card used to purchase the subscription. Your access to Subscription-
Only Content will end upon the processing of your refund.

Your Breach of these Terms and Conditions
We have the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Website, including the
Subscription-Only Content upon your breach or intended breach of these Terms and Conditions.
In addition, you acknowledge and agree that your breach of any provision of these Terms and
Conditions would result in  irreparable harm to UMG for which money damages alone would be
an inadequate remedy, and, therefore, you agree that we are entitled to injunctive relief to
prevent or restrain any breach or threatened breach of these Terms and Conditions, in addition to
any other remedies available at law or in equity.

Warranty Disclaimer
THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE
WEBSITE SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. We reserve the right to edit or remove any
Content on the Website at any time without notice and without liability to you or third parties. In
addition, we make no guarantee as to the resolution or quality of the Content you will receive
when streaming, even if you have paid for access to the Content.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UMG AND ITS OFFICERS,
DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS, DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES,
REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS, AND GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND, EITHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS, OR GUARANTEES OF QUALITY,
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-
INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE
ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE WEBSITE OR OF ANY SITES LINKED TO
OR FROM THE WEBSITE AND ASSUME NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR
ANY (I) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES, (II) PERSONAL INJURY OR
PROPERTY DAMAGE, OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, RESULTING FROM YOUR
ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE, (III) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR
USE OF OUR SECURE SERVERS AND/OR ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION
AND/OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN, (IV) ANY INTERRUPTION

OMISSIONS OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A

Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL UMG OR ANY OF ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR
AGENTS, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM ANY
(I) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES, (II) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE, OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO
AND USE OF THE WEBSITE, (III) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR
SECURE SERVERS AND/OR ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION AND/OR
FINANCIAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN, (IV) ANY INTERRUPTION OR
CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE WEBSITE, (IV) ANY BUGS,
VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES, OR THE LIKE, THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR
THROUGH THE WEBSITE BY ANY THIRD PARTY, AND/OR (V) ANY ERRORS OR
OMISSIONS OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A

THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF DIRECT DAMAGES ATTRIBUTABLE TO UMG
RELATING TO THIS WEBSITE SHALL BE ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE APPLICABLE JURISDICTION.
YOU SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT UMG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR USER
SUBMISSIONS OR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE, OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF ANY
THIRD PARTY AND THAT THE RISK OF HARM OR DAMAGE FROM THE
FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH YOU.

Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless UMG and its officers, directors, employees,
and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or
debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees) arising from: (i) your use of and
access to the Website; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms and Conditions; (iii) your
violation of any third party right or any law, including without limitation any copyright,
property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that any content you submit via the Website violates
any third party right or any law. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these
Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website.

Assignment
These Terms and Conditions, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be
transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by us without restriction.
Ability to Accept Terms and Conditions of Use

You affirm that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction or possess legal
parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions,
obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms and
Conditions, and to abide by and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

General
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of
Ohio, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any claim or dispute between you and
UMG that arises in whole or in part from the Website shall be decided exclusively by a court of
competent jurisdiction located in Ohio. These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy
Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Website, shall constitute the entire
agreement between you and UMG concerning the Website and our services. If any provision of
these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity
of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and
Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this these
Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other
term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms and Conditions shall not
constitute a waiver of such right or provision. YOU AND UMG AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE
OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE MUST COMMENCE
WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. OTHERWISE,
SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
